Professor Huang Yongchun was born in 1974 and is 49 years old. I studied undergraduate and master in Guangxi University, majoring in sugar engineering and applied chemistry respectively. After that, he entered South China University of Technology to study for a doctorate in sugar engineering and graduated in 2003. Subsequently, Huang Yongchun joined Guangxi University of Science and Technology and has been engaged in research in the fields of biological resource processing and process strengthening for a long time.

Professor Huang Yongchun is not only the leader of bioengineering, a key discipline with advantages and characteristics in Guangxi, but also the director of the key laboratory of sugar resource processing in Guangxi universities. In recent years, he has presided over many scientific research projects and won many patent authorizations and scientific and technological awards.

During his work in Guangxi University of Science and Technology, Huang Yongchun also served as Dean of Graduate School, Dean of School of Biological and Chemical Engineering, Director of Academic Affairs Office and Director of Personnel Office. In June this year, he officially became the vice president of Guangxi University of Science and Technology.

Huang Yongchun was transferred from the vice president of Guangxi University of Science and Technology to the head of higher vocational colleges. Although on the surface, he changed from a deputy to a full-time job, in fact, his level has not been improved, just a flat tone. The reason is that Guangxi University of Science and Technology is an undergraduate college with district management, while higher vocational colleges generally belong to the deputy department-level institutions, so the level of the top leaders in higher vocational colleges is different from that of the presidents of undergraduate colleges.
