Yunnan Art College is two books. Because Yunnan Art College is the second batch of enrollment in Yunnan, we say that Yunnan Art College is two colleges. If a university enrolls students in the first batch in a province, it is usually considered as a university; if it enrolls students in the second batch, it is usually considered as two universities.
Yunnan Art Institute:
Yunnan Art Institute, referred to as "Yi Yun", is located in Cheng Chun-Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is one of the comprehensive art colleges in eight provinces (regions) in China and a comprehensive art college in southwest China.
It is a receiving institution of China government scholarship for overseas students studying in China, a national college student cultural quality education base, and a social and artistic level grading institution. It is a member of China-ASEAN Art University Alliance, China-Russia Art University Alliance, China-Central and Eastern European Countries Dance Culture and Art Alliance, China Higher Drama Education Alliance and China Stage Art Education Alliance.
The school can be traced back to Southwest Associated University Teachers College 1938. The main body was founded in Yunnan Art College in 1959, and was revoked in 1963 and transferred to the Art Department of Kunming Normal University. 1980 Yunnan Art College officially separated from Kunming Normal University and became an independent school-running institution.
