Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (hereinafter referred to as China Southern Airlines (NUAA)), located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, featuring aerospace and civil aviation and focusing on science and engineering. Jointly built by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province, the country is "double first-class".

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, founded in June 1952, is one of the earliest aviation institutions of higher learning in New China. 1978 was identified as a national key university by the State Council; 198 1 was approved by the State Council to become the first batch of universities in China with the right to confer doctoral degrees; 1996 entered the national "2 1 1 project" construction.
