Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a university jointly established by Sichuan Provincial People's Government, state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Ministry of Education and Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was formerly known as Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Founded in 1956, it was established with the approval of the State Council under the care of Zhou Enlai and other Chinese production parties and the first generation of China leaders. 1995 was renamed with the approval of the State Education Commission. ?
