Shanwei Campus of South China Normal University, as a key project to implement the major decisions and arrangements of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, was jointly built by Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, Shanwei Municipal People's Government, South China Normal University and Shenzhen University. It is an important part of South China Normal University's "one school, three places and four schools" school system, and it is also the first national "double-first-class" university and "2 1 1 project".
