First, no matter what the liberal arts major is, the word background is very important. Nantah, with a history of 120 years, is naturally slightly better than the National People's Congress. Do you know that Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing Medical University and many other first-class southern universities were once members of many colleges of Nanjing University (then called "National Central University")? Later, due to the great development of each major (physics, astronomy, Chinese, history, philosophy, foreign languages), these colleges were liberalized for the convenience of management. Therefore, it can be said that the famous old professors in these universities are all teachers of Nantah, and they all grew up in the academic atmosphere of Nantah. The centenary of Nantah is also the centenary of these schools, because they all regard the birth day of Nantah as their own!
Second, the school spirit of NTU is better than others. Many people in China, especially in the north, don't know about Nantah, but from the ranking of world famous schools, Nantah is always among the best, even surpassing Peking University. Why is this? It is because Nantah's style of study is pragmatic, but it doesn't care much about competing with the outside world for fame and profit. If you want to learn something practical, then the style of study is naturally something you have to consider.
Thirdly, in terms of teachers, Nantah has a group of famous old pedants, especially the Faculty of Arts. No matter whether you will work as a text editor in the future, studying at NTU will definitely benefit you a lot. Moreover, NTU's School of Journalism and Communication is very strong. Many famous media in the south, such as Southern Weekend, basically have to go as long as they hear that NTU students are coming to practice.
Fourth, I especially want to take care of you. We must look at the situation calmly. In terms of fame, the National People's Congress is indeed slightly better than Nantah. From the brand point of view, NTU and NPC are actually similar. Judging from the future employment situation, the employment rate of Nantah is higher than that of the National People's Congress (because the editorial department of newspapers and magazines actually knows who is stronger).
Fifth, it is a small suggestion. If you really plan to come to Nantah in the end, you might as well try the Chinese Department, that is, the College of Literature. Nanda College of Literature (Chinese Department) has been ranked in the top four in the country, and it is often ranked second in the country after Peking University Chinese Department! In addition, the foundation of the Chinese Department is obviously more solid than that of the School of Journalism and Communication. Famous professors at home and abroad, such as Gao Xiaofang, Zhao, Zhai, etc., are all in the College of Liberal Arts, where lectures are very rich. The most important point is that even if you want to change your major in the future, it is very easy to transfer from the College of Liberal Arts to other colleges, or even you don't have to take the exam (the College of Liberal Arts has a high reputation), but it is very, very difficult to transfer from other majors to the College of Liberal Arts, and basically you can't pass the exam.
