Minimum entry requirements for master of civil engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada
Applicants are admitted in accordance with the general regulations of graduate schools. Applicants must also meet the following additional admission requirements for civil engineering departments.
The completed undergraduate degree is equivalent to a four-year course at the University of Toronto, and the average grade point average (GPA) in the last year is at least medium B(3.0, 4.0, or 75%). Every year of the last two years of the undergraduate course must achieve the required results. The average score of competitive admission is usually close to or higher than 80% (A-).
Applicants who graduate from universities whose main language is not English and whose teaching and examination languages are not English must prove their English proficiency. For requirements, please refer to Section 4.3 of the General Rules.
Students without a bachelor's degree in civil engineering may need to take more time and courses than usual.
