The Mimicry Environment from the Cognitive Perspective and the Cooperation between China and South Asia

abstract

This paper analyzes the current cooperative relationship between China and South Asia, aiming at finding ways to improve the cooperative relationship between China and South Asia under the framework of "Belt and Road" by analyzing the influence mechanism of "mimicry environment".

The influence of "mimicry environment" on cooperative relationship can be divided into two aspects: positive guidance and misleading. In the "positive guidance", the author uses the relationship between China, Pakistani and Bangladeshi to explain in detail that "misleading" is mainly based on the relationship between China and India.

Based on the "cultural cycle model" of public relations, this study discusses how international students in China consume China symbols, the production significance of China symbols and their influence situations. Through the semantic network and theme analysis of in-depth interviews with foreign students, it is found that the consumption of China symbols is mainly based on the local experience of foreign students.

The practical significance of this research for national narrative lies in that when constructing China's symbol system, we should pay attention to the daily value of tradition or modernity to the target public from the perspective of consumption purpose and meaning creation; The theoretical significance lies in the applied interpretation of the cultural path of the relationship between the public and the public, and also discusses the limitations and future direction of the research.
