The education system in Hong Kong is similar to that in Britain. The biggest difference between Hong Kong University and American universities is that they attach great importance to your undergraduate school. You are generally required to have an honorary bachelor's degree and a master's degree. If you apply for a doctorate directly, you need an honorary bachelor's degree or a first-class bachelor's degree with equivalent academic qualifications.
Second, GPA

If you are a student of 985/2 1 1 university, the GPA requirements will be higher, generally 90 points, which is more than 3.6 points in the 4-point standard.
2. To apply for Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong and Baptist University, if you are a student of 985/2 1 1 university, you need GPA of 80 and above. If you are a double-degree university in Africa, your GPA needs to reach 85 points, which is more than 3.4 points in the scoring standard of 4 points. Generally, GPA3.0 is a threshold for applying for a doctorate in a public university. If it is lower than 3.0, it is best to apply for a private university.
Third, TOEFL/IELTS
