Hunan Institute of Technology includes photovoltaic power generation technology and application, distributed power generation and microgrid technology, solar photothermal technology and application, photovoltaic material processing and application technology, engineering cost, industrial energy-saving technology, industrial robot technology, electromechanical integration technology, mechanical design and manufacturing, wind power generation engineering technology, wind power system operation and maintenance, electrical automation, engineering measurement and so on.
Hunan Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government and put on record by China Ministry of Education. The college was formerly known as Hunan Coal Cadre Secondary Professional School, which was founded in 1978. 1990 merged with the former Lianshao and Zixing Mining Bureau Staff University to form Hunan Coal Staff University. 1994 was renamed Hunan University of Industrial Workers. In June 2003, I applied for higher vocational colleges. In April 2004, the Provincial Department of Education reported to the provincial government for approval to build a higher vocational college. In March 2005, it was approved by the provincial government.
