199 1 marine science postdoctoral mobile station approved. 1992 and 1993 established a master's degree in applied geophysics and a doctor's degree in solid geophysics respectively, and obtained a master's degree in mineral survey and exploration, structural geology and quaternary geology from 2004 to 2006. The college consists of the Department of Marine Geology and the Department of Geophysics. There are three undergraduate majors in geology, geophysics, marine resources development and technology, and there is a doctoral authorization point in marine science.

The discipline of marine geology in our college has been supported by the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the 2 1 1 project of the Ministry of Education and the Action Plan for Revitalizing Education (985). In 2000, it was rated as the "most important" discipline in Shanghai, the national key discipline in 2002 and the national key laboratory of marine geology in 2006.
