The six art colleges in China, also known as the six provincial comprehensive art colleges in China, refer to the six comprehensive art colleges with the most popularity, professionalism and geographical representation in China, including Nanjing Art College (Nanjing), Guangxi Art College (Nanning), Shandong Art College (Jinan), Yunnan Art College (Kunming), Jilin Art College (Changchun) and Xinjiang Art College (Urumqi).

Up to now, only Nanjing Art Institute has the right to award doctor's degree in art. It is one of the five comprehensive art universities in the world, China Comprehensive Art University and the highest comprehensive art institution in China.
