Establishing the public service system of modern distance education —— In 2000, the Provincial Education Commission approved the establishment of "Gansu Modern Distance Education Center", and Gansu Radio and TV University is one of the key units that undertake the public service function of modern distance education in our province. After 2000, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, the school accepted the entrustment of modern distance education pilot universities and other educational institutions, and cooperated with nine well-known universities in China, such as Tsinghua University and Nankai University, to carry out postgraduate courses and other types of educational practice, so as to build a teaching support service platform for the pilot universities. In 2003, the school established the "Learning Center of Distance Open Education", which became an important part of the national public service system of distance education. Gansu Radio and TV University has changed from a single school-running function to multi-functions such as school-running and service, and the teaching and teaching management system in the whole province has been more fully utilized as an important resource for the development of modern distance education in our province.
