Mechanism type
All types of higher education institutions in Sweden are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, except the University of Agricultural Sciences, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture. Academic certification from Swedish universities is divided into three cycles according to the learning level provided, and each cycle has different credit requirements. The credit system in Sweden is consistent with the credit system in ECTS, that is, a standard 40-week school year is equivalent to 60 credits at a given learning level.
According to different fields of study, there are three independent academic categories: general degree, fine arts and applied performing arts degree and professional degree. Swedish universities offer all three cycles of courses, awarding undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. To participate in each cycle of degree courses, you need to have a degree or a certified level of knowledge equivalent to the previous cycle of credits.

Independent colleges and universities generally have the right to award undergraduate degrees (the first and second cycles), but postgraduate degrees must apply to relevant institutions for granting doctoral degrees (the third cycle). Courses offered are usually career-oriented or professional.
Different periods
The cycle is quite different from the learning level of other countries: for example, the cycle of undergraduate (including bachelor's degree) in Britain corresponds to that of Sweden 1, that of master's degree corresponds to cycle 2, and that of doctor's degree corresponds to cycle 3.
First cycle (first cycle)
Sweden's first and second cycle courses are curriculum-based, similar to British bachelor's degrees and some advanced diploma courses. Students can combine different courses to form a credit line. The third cycle (the third cycle)
The third cycle of courses is equivalent to doctoral and doctoral courses in Britain.
