Why should we strengthen the significance of early childhood safety education?
Self-protection is the need of human survival and an innate physiological instinct. For example, newborn crying is to increase lung capacity to adapt to the new environment; Blink to prevent glare from irritating the eyes and so on. But we should see that, on the one hand, children's self-awareness is constantly increasing, and they have a certain understanding of their own existence and value. On the other hand, with the rapid development of social economy and science and technology, while modern life brings people, social problems such as environmental pollution, traffic congestion and increased criminal activities also appear, making it difficult for children's innate primary self-protection ability to cope with accidents. In order to ensure the safety of children, we need to strengthen social security, optimize their safety environment, and attach importance to self-protection education for children.

Through interviews with parents and children and observation of children's daily life games in the park, we would like to briefly discuss the following issues with you.

1. Parents neglect to educate their children's self-care ability and self-protection ability.

Children's self-protection consciousness depends on their own survival consciousness, and self-care ability is one aspect of children's survival consciousness. In interviews and observations, it is found that children

& gt Self-care ability is generally poor. Mainly reflected in: many children in small classes can't tell the difference between positive and negative shoes; The children in the middle class should know that the buttons are loose and find someone to help reinforce and repair them, only to find that many children are at a loss in the face of these things; Children in large classes should arrange their own clothes and take the initiative to increase or decrease clothes according to the hot or cold weather, which can only be done partially. We believe that one of the main factors affecting children's self-care ability lies in the attitude and consciousness of adults in the family towards children's self-care ability. According to the interview, parents show many concerns when cultivating their children's self-care ability. Mainly concentrated in two aspects: on the one hand, parents think that their children are still young, and they don't trust their children to do those life events themselves. They think that if they don't cultivate now, they will naturally grow up with these life events; On the other hand, parents think that children are too slow to respond. If children are allowed to do those things in life by themselves, adults are afraid of delaying their time. For example, after getting up in the morning, it is a good opportunity to cultivate children's self-care ability, but parents are worried that their children will catch cold. What I'm afraid of is that I don't have time. From dressing and wearing shoes to washing, my parents do it instead. Children nowadays are loved by their parents like flowers in a greenhouse. Parents are afraid that their children will suffer hardships and take care of them in every way. You can really say, "I'm afraid to melt in my mouth, and I'm afraid to drop it in my hand." Ignoring the cultivation of children's ability in this respect weakens children's awareness of survival, thus inhibiting the development of children's self-protection ability.

Second, children's common sense of self-protection in game activities is different from that in actual activities.

To.

Games are children's basic activities and children's favorite activities. Children's self-protection ability in game activities includes: observing the rules of the game, not littering game items, not playing with broken toys, not leaving the group or leaving the teacher without authorization. Children play games.

Master and teach some self-care knowledge in the activity. For example, know the rules of the game that you often play, and know the reasons why you can't leave the group without authorization in the game. However, in the actual game activities, it is not completely in line with his common sense of self-care. For example, children push and squeeze their peers when playing outdoor and large toys; There are many children chasing, running and throwing game materials on the playground.

Then, what is the reason for the disjointed and inconsistent phenomenon of children's knowledge and behavior in game activities? We think there are two main factors:

First of all, children don't have the common sense of self-protection taught by internalized teachers, and they don't fundamentally establish the sense of self-protection, so this disconnect phenomenon appears.

Secondly, game activities are not as restricted and free as in class. In addition, games are children's favorite activities, so children are more likely to get excited in game activities. However, the nerve type in early childhood is more exciting than inhibitory, which leads to poor self-control ability in game activities. Although children know some common sense of self-protection, there are many dangerous behaviors when they are excited.

Third, children who nip in the bud for the future have poor self-protection ability.

The so-called self-protection ability to prevent future problems refers to the self-protection ability to those accidents that are at a certain distance from the current real life or accidental and real. Self-love is mainly manifested in the following two aspects.

(1) The self-care ability related to children's own future health is weak.

The so-called future health-related means that the impact on people's health is not obvious in a short time, but it will have a certain impact on people's health after a long time. The protection related to your future health mainly includes three aspects: protecting your voice, protecting your teeth and protecting your eyesight. We found that there are many children shouting in activities, and children lack understanding of the harm of shouting to their voices. This will not only create a phonetic environment, but also be extremely unfavorable to children with growing sound bands. In terms of protecting teeth, children not only lack common sense of teeth, but also lack some protective measures in daily life. For example, children don't rinse their mouths after lunch. Protecting eyesight is a little better, but it is not optimistic, and some bad habits still exist.

(2) unexpected accidents that have not been experienced personally and self-protection in actual emergencies.

Poor ability.

We find that children's poor self-care ability in this respect is mainly manifested in: on the one hand, children have never been

Historical, accidental and sudden accidents lack corresponding knowledge. For example, "lightning protection", in the survey, it was found that only about 30% of the children could correctly answer the reason why they could not hide under the big tree during a thunderstorm, while nearly 20% of the children thought it was just right to hide under the big tree during a thunderstorm. When children master the knowledge of accidents and sudden accidents and have a certain understanding of their harmfulness, they can take corresponding measures to protect themselves. on the other hand

Children still lack some self-care ability. Today, when the telephone is more common, it is an important means for children to seek help and protect themselves. According to the survey, 93.3% children know their home phone number, but about 25% children don't think of calling home for help when they encounter specific accidents. However, children's mastery of these distress calls (1 19, 120, 1 10) is worrying. Although 40% children know the general purpose of this phone, about 9 1% children will not use it or use it improperly when asked to imitate it. During the investigation, the child had time to think, but the result was still the same. So in reality, when children are in danger, they have few measures and means to protect themselves.

Analysis of children's weak self-protection ability in this respect may be that these are all self-protection before the occurrence, which is far from real life. It is easy for adults to ignore some self-protection education and training for children, just like the use of some emergency telephones. Many adults think that such a phone call is far away from their children and they don't need to tell them too early. Secondly, adults ignore this education. Children lack corresponding experience accumulation. It is precisely because of these factors that children have poor self-care ability in this respect.

4. Adults neglect the psychological self-care education for children.

Children's psychological self-protection ability is an indispensable part of self-protection ability, and improving this self-protection ability directly affects children's safety. By understanding the psychological communication between parents, teachers and children, we can understand whether adults are right or not from one side.

Children receive psychological self-care education. According to the information obtained, only 25% of parents and 15% of teachers can talk and communicate with their children when their emotions are abnormal. It can be seen that many adults have neglected the psychological self-care education for their children. So what factors affect adult education in this area? The author thinks that one of the main reasons is that adults do not fully realize the important role of improving psychological self-care ability in enhancing children's survival consciousness and ensuring safety. These consciousnesses of adults have affected their opportunities to talk and communicate with young children, so that young children can accumulate a lot of inner feelings, their psychological needs can not be met, and their unbalanced emotions can not be vented through normal channels, which leads to some harm to themselves and others. If adults often have psychological communication with children, children can unconsciously know that they have ideas or are unhappy, and they can talk to others to find someone to vent their emotions. Thereby reducing the occurrence of some accidental injuries.

From the above analysis, it is not difficult to see that the accumulation of children's own experience and the educational awareness and attitude of adults will affect the improvement of children's self-protection ability.

Self-protection is an important guarantee for children's survival and safety. In view of the unsatisfactory situation of children's self-protection ability, it is particularly important to improve their self-protection ability. Here are some suggestions on how to cultivate and improve children's self-protection ability:

First, enhance adults' understanding of the importance of self-care education for young children, and take appropriate measures to educate young children according to the characteristics of self-care education.

Self-care education is very knowledgeable and scientific, and the content of self-care education is extensive and dispersed, so it is necessary to let

Children learn to truly protect themselves, so that knowledge and practice are consistent, which requires teachers to be flexible, permeable and arbitrary in the means of self-health education.
