The following measures should be taken in the moral education method of rewards and punishments: let students fully understand the code of conduct of rewards and punishments; Considering students' psychological needs and differences; Punishment is limited to the behavior that can be corrected after knowing the mistakes; Use deprivation punishment more.

Reward and punishment (including praise and criticism) are indispensable educational methods in moral education.

When using praise and criticism, rewards and punishments, we should pay attention to the following points:

1. Fair, reasonable and pragmatic. Teachers should have a deep understanding of the specific situation and give appropriate praise or rewards when students do well; When students make mistakes, they will be criticized or punished appropriately.

At the same time, we should also pay attention to: when praising and rewarding students, we should further put forward higher requirements and suggestions, or point out their shortcomings in order to improve in the future; When criticizing or punishing students, don't completely deny them, but also patiently encourage them and point out the direction of their efforts.

2. Get the support of students. Only when teachers' evaluation of students is consistent with students' collective evaluation of individuals and supported by students' collective public opinion will there be the power to educate individuals and collectives.

Especially some important rewards and punishments, it is best to have a full discussion in the student collective first, and then carry out it after having a mass base.

3. It should be appropriate and instructive. Use punishment more carefully. Punishment in school is to make students realize the responsibility and consequences they must bear when they make mistakes, so as to alert themselves and other students.

In schools, the education law and professional ethics prohibit corporal punishment or corporal punishment in disguised form. Teachers cannot use labor or fines as punishment.
