Three months before the expiration of the validity period, the holder shall go through the formalities of re-registration at the original registration management institution. Within the validity period of registration, if a professional institution is changed, it shall go through the formalities of change in time. If there are errors in the registration items of citizen's identity card, the public security organ shall correct them in time, and must return the original card when issuing a new one. If a resident identity card is lost, it shall apply for a replacement.
