Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to standardize the enrollment work and ensure the smooth enrollment work, the Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Articles of Association of Southwest Medical University and the relevant policies and regulations of the education authorities, and in combination with the actual situation of the school.

Article 2 These Articles of Association are applicable to the enrollment of full-time undergraduates in Southwest Medical University in 2022.

Article 3 The "Sunshine Project" shall be implemented in the enrollment work of colleges and universities, and the principles of "fair competition, fair selection, openness and transparency, comprehensive assessment, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission" shall be adhered to, so as to select and admit outstanding students suitable for the characteristics of talent training in colleges and universities.

Chapter III Organizational Structure

Article 10 The enrollment of schools shall be conducted under the leadership of the Party Committee and administration of Southwest Medical University. Article 19 Except for English majors, the enrollment majors of schools do not restrict candidates' examination language. After freshmen enter school, English is the first foreign language for teaching, and non-English language candidates should apply carefully.

Twentieth schools should recruit free medical students. According to the relevant policies and regulations of the state and Sichuan Province, the admitted candidates must sign an orientation training agreement with the county-level health administrative department where the post-fixing unit is located before entering the school, and promise to work in the relevant primary medical and health institutions after graduation. Students who refuse to sign the agreement will be disqualified.

Chapter VI Standards and Restrictions of Admission Physical Examination

Twenty-second physical examination standards shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Colleges and Universities" (No.3 [2003] of UNESCO) promulgated by the Ministry of Education. Article 23 In view of the particularity of study and employment of all majors in medical colleges, in order to facilitate candidates to successfully complete their studies and future career development, the following supplementary requirements are made for candidates' physical conditions.

(1) Candidates suffering from six major diseases listed in Article 1 of the Guidance will not be admitted to the major: all majors.

(2) The majors that candidates with abnormal color vision (weak color and color blindness) will not be admitted are: basic medicine, stomatology, anesthesiology, clinical medicine, pediatrics, medical imaging, psychiatry, medical imaging technology, medical laboratory technology, rehabilitation therapy, preventive medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, clinical medicine of Chinese and Western medicine, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, clinical pharmacy, nursing, optometry and biomedicine.

(3) Candidates who are blind at first sight will not be admitted to the major: medicine, pharmacy, medical technology, and medical related majors; Candidates who are blind in both eyes will not be admitted to majors: all majors.

(4) The major that is used to doing things with the left hand (left-handed) is not accepted: stomatology.

(5) Candidates suffering from related diseases listed in Item 4, Item 5, Item 6, Item 7 and Item 9 of Article 3 of the Guidance Opinion are not suitable for majors: medicine, pharmacy and medical technology.

(6) Considering the special requirements of experimental and practical teaching, candidates with physical dysfunction are not suitable for majors: medicine, pharmacy, medical technology and physical education.

(7) Candidates whose male height is less than1.70m and female height is less than1.60m are not suitable for major: physical education; Candidates whose male height is less than1.62m and female height is less than1.58m are not suitable for studying nursing.

Chapter VII Enrollment Registration and Examination

Twenty-fourth freshmen admitted to our school must hold the Admission Notice of Southwest Medical University and go through the admission formalities at the school according to the relevant requirements and time limit stipulated by the school.

Twenty-fifth freshmen must participate in the comprehensive review organized by the school within three months (including qualification examination, physical examination, psychological test, etc.). ). Those who fail to pass the re-examination will be dealt with according to the "Regulations on the Management of Student Status of Southwest Medical University" according to different situations until they are disqualified. Anyone who cheats will be disqualified.

Chapter VIII Policies on Fees, Incentives and Subsidies

Twenty-sixth students' tuition and accommodation fees are strictly in accordance with the Notice of the Provincial Price Bureau, the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Department of Education on the pilot reform of credit system fees in ordinary colleges and universities in our province (Sichuan Price Fee [2004]118). Service fees and agency fees are charged according to the principle of students' voluntariness and non-profit.

Article 29 The Admissions Office of Southwest Medical University shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Articles of Association. If the Articles of Association are inconsistent with the relevant policies of the state and superiors, the relevant policies of the state and superiors shall prevail.
