"Southern Media" and "Southern Broadcasting" are the abbreviations of Nanguang College of Communication University of China, also known as Nanjing Media College. Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, it is a full-time private undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and the only applied undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province.

Nanguang School was established in September 2004 16. Co-organized by Communication University of China and Huaxia Audiovisual Media Group, it was later renamed Nanguang College of Communication University of China. On March 30, 2020, the Ministry of Education agreed that Nanguang College of Communication University of China should be transformed into Nanjing Communication College, and at the same time, the establishment of Nanguang College of Communication University of China should be revoked.

Nanguang College of Communication University of China was established in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province in 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
