Conditions for exempting the achievements of national educational science planning projects from appraisal
In order to encourage outstanding research results and reduce duplication of work, if the final results of different types of projects meet the following relevant conditions, they may apply for exemption from appraisal:

1. The projects listed in the National Social Science Fund (except for major and key national projects) are the same as the specific provisions in the Measures for the Administration of National Social Science Fund Projects, that is, the provincial and ministerial level awards are awarded with more than second-class merit; The theoretical viewpoints and policy suggestions put forward have been fully adopted and absorbed by the party and government leading organs at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, with basic materials and relevant certificates attached.

The awards here include: National Social Science Foundation Outstanding Achievement Award, National Teaching Achievement Award, National Educational Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award, China University Humanities and Social Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award, National Science and Technology Award, and Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award, Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and Provincial Science and Technology Award.

National major and key projects may not apply for exemption from review.

2. The main achievements of the key projects of the Ministry of Education and the special projects for adolescents of the Ministry of Education have been fully adopted and absorbed by the education administrative departments at or above the provincial level, with basic materials and certificates attached; Or the main contents of the final results are published or reprinted in China Social Sciences and Xinhua Digest, and clearly marked.

3. The main contents of the final results of the planning project of the Ministry of Education were published in the Journal of Educational Research and the Journal of Psychology, and clearly marked.

Key projects of the Ministry of Education and special projects for adolescents of the Ministry of Education can be exempted from identification, and planned projects of the Ministry of Education can be exempted from identification.

Those who apply for exemption from appraisal shall explain the reasons when filling in the Application for Appraisal of Achievements of National Educational Science Planning Project, and send relevant supporting materials to publish or reprint the original text.
