Jianghan Art Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary college approved by Hubei Provincial People's Government in 2004 and put on record by the Ministry of Education. Formerly known as Hubei Qianjiang Art Normal School, it was founded in 1959. The college is located in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, which is known as "Jianghan Oil City, Shuicheng Garden and the Hometown of Lobsters".

Jianghan Art Vocational College is one of the first batch of "five-year preschool education" pilot schools in Hubei Province, the training base of "national training" and "provincial training" kindergarten teachers in Hubei Province, and the training base of Hubei Vocational College teachers' quality improvement plan.
