The core idea of equivalence teaching method mentioned by Dr. Wang in his book is to let students teach students. In this process, teachers don't start teaching directly, but throw questions to arouse thinking, so that the correct concept of knowledge can be gradually clarified in students' expression, listening and discussion, thus deepening their thinking and understanding of a certain knowledge. Peer teaching is a good method, but it should also be used in time. When the teacher throws a question and the students complete the answer, the teacher implements different teaching strategies according to the overall correct answer rate. If the correct answer rate exceeds 70%, it shows that most students have a good grasp of this knowledge point, and the teacher can enter the next concept by simply explaining it. If the correct answer rate is lower than 30%, it means that most students can't grasp the knowledge points represented by the questions, and teachers need to explain the concepts in detail, and the correct answer rate is between 30% and 70%. It shows that students have different understandings of knowledge points and scattered answers. This can adopt the peer teaching method, and divide the students into different groups with 2-3 people in each group. Each student must explain his point of view to other members. In this interactive learning, group members can clarify the core concepts and form a correct understanding in the process of explanation and listening. After the group discussion, teachers can use Ma Jixing's teaching system to answer for the second time, test students' mastery, and choose appropriate teaching strategies according to the actual situation, so as to achieve better learning results.
After studying Dr. Wang's lecture "Peer Teaching Method", I was deeply touched, reminding me of my experience in college, which is different from peer teaching method to some extent. One thing in common is the teaching between students. At that time, I was interested in English education and teaching. It happened that the school organized a peer-to-peer early reading English teaching team, so I applied to be a peer English teacher, mainly responsible for the English teaching of freshmen. Use morning reading for 40 minutes every day to lead my brothers and sisters to learn English and guide the skills of CET-4. I am a student about the same age as my brother and sister. I can't say how well I can teach, but the way of thinking and expression among peers is relatively close. Through peer teaching, students can have more resonance with knowledge points, and students also like this teaching mode. They are willing to participate in classroom interaction and have a strong learning atmosphere, which has aroused students' enthusiasm for learning.
