Generally, it takes three to six years for a doctor to complete his studies. At present, the management mode of doctoral students is a loose tutor-led management mode. Basically, students attend classes for one year and study papers with their tutors for two years. Most of the third-year papers can be replied if the quantity and quality are qualified.

Beijing Language and Culture University, referred to as Beiyu for short, is an institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is the only international university named after a language established in New China. Its main mission is to spread the language and culture of China. It is called Little United Nations.
