Sparta (σ π? ρτη? ) is one of the ancient Greek city states.

In ancient Greek history, Sparta refers to the southeast of the Peloponnesian Peninsula, the south of the Lacconia Plain, and the main settlement on the west bank of the Europa River, while the city-state is called Rasimeng (Greek: λ α κ ε δ α? μ ω ν English: Lacedaemon).
