The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council's Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities under the New Situation put forward the requirements of holistic education (referred to as "three rounds of education"). Colleges and universities should take moral education, cultural knowledge education and social practice education as their fundamental tasks, run ideological and political work through the whole process of education and teaching, and lead ideological value through the whole process and every link of education and teaching, thus forming a long-term mechanism of teaching, scientific research, practice, management, service, culture and organization.
