The newly established Sinology Research Association is an academic and non-profit organization composed of sinology researchers and people who voluntarily support sinology research. The Institute undertakes projects entrusted by all parties, holds academic conferences on Chinese studies, organizes academic exchanges and cooperation on Chinese studies, popularizes knowledge on Chinese studies, trains talents on Chinese studies, develops cultural products on Chinese studies, and publishes publications and audio-visual products. The Sinology Research Association is based on academic research. While accurately grasping the connotation of Chinese studies, it also takes into account its function of serving the society and produces more excellent products and talents, thus adding a new force to the social science research field in Tianjin.
