In April, 20001,Kunshan Software Park was formally established at the opportunity of the working meeting held by the Ministry of Information Industry in Kunshan. The park is adjacent to Bacheng Lake in the east, Yangcheng Lake in the west, Yangcheng Lake tourist resort in the south and Suzhou Outer Ring Expressway in the north, with a planned total area of 6 square kilometers. The goal of the park is to build a national-level boutique ecological software park, which is dominated by software research and development, software outsourcing, incubation, export and processing, and integrates education, training, exhibitions, tourism and comprehensive services.
