Huang is the principal of Changzhou Gankun Dance Training School. He manages nine campuses and trains thousands of students every year.

Huang graduated from the Dance Academy of Shanghai Theatre Academy and was once an excellent dancer in Changzhou Opera and Dance Theatre. The ballet Gesanghua Jasmine won the gold medal in the national minority literature and art performance, and he played Ge Sang in The First Hero.
