The red leaf viewing essence area of Badaling National Forest Park is Hongyeling, covering an area of nearly 1,000 mu, with more than 50,000 red leaf trees (Cotinus coggygria), adjacent to the Great Wall and located on the south side of the memorial bronze statue of Zhan Tianyou.
