Professor Chen Shiyi won two international awards. Professor Chen Shiyi of Huashan Hospital of Fudan University won the "2000 International Scholar Award" at the 47th annual meeting of American Sports Medical College (ACSM) held in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA on May 30th this year. There are 5400 scholars participating in this annual meeting, and this award is a global competition, with one winner and great influence. This is also the first time that sports medical workers in China have won this honor. A grand award ceremony was held during the conference.

After winning the prize, Professor Chen Shiyi conducted a two-month visit, academic lectures and cooperative research in the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine of the University of Wisconsin Hospital, the Department of Orthopaedics of the University of Pittsburgh Hospital and the famous Musculoskeletal Research Center (MSRC). This has played a positive role in strengthening exchanges and understanding between Chinese and American sports medical circles.

Professor Chen Shiyi is the deputy head of the Sports Traumatology Group of the Sports Medicine Professional Committee of the Chinese Sports Science Society and the executive director of the Shanghai Sports Science Society. A series of studies have been made on sports injuries of knee joint, shoulder joint and muscle, and more than 50 papers have been published in core journals at home and abroad.

Among them, the paper won the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. These works have been recognized internationally, adding luster to sports medicine in China and expanding its international influence. Although it is not the top in the world, it is the top in China.
