Hello everyone! First of all, please allow me, on behalf of all teachers, to express my warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all parents for coming. Thank you for your concern and love for the students in our class, and for your strong support for our class work. My child has entered the second day of junior high school, and we have the opportunity to sit together and discuss and exchange some things about children's study and life. As the head teacher of the children, I want to express my deep gratitude to all the parents who are present or not today in my own name. Thank you for your support to my work and study in the past year. Without your support, the children could not have made such great progress. I'd like to take this opportunity to share some of my personal thoughts with you first. Some parents here have more contact with us, so they may know me and my children better, but some parents may have less contact with me and their children because of their busy work.
Next, I will briefly introduce the characteristics of our Class 2 (3) and some current study and life situations. The children in this class are characterized by being more active, active and, of course, extremely intelligent. A good habit can benefit children for life. I have such an experience: once a good habit is formed, it will stick to it when I grow up. Parents should help their children form good study habits: 1. Concentrate. After children enter school, it is not easy to concentrate because of their poor self-study ability. Therefore, parents should strictly demand and often remind their children to pay attention to the lecture in class, not to make small moves, and not to interfere with others' listening. When you get home, you should create an environment suitable for children to study, so that children can develop the good habit of doing their homework in time after school and doing other things after finishing their homework at the specified time. 2. Think independently. Parents should guide their children to think about problems that children can't solve. The important thing is not to teach them how to solve a problem, but to tell them how to solve a problem and cultivate their independent thinking ability. 3. Be careful. Children's homework must be completed within the specified time, but it must not be sloppy. This requires correct content, neat handwriting and timely completion. In order to let children develop good habits, improve accuracy and responsibility, children should be required to develop the habit of inspection from the first grade. 4. Cultivate children's active thinking. Don't look at children's problems from the perspective of an adult. Be good at cultivating children's diligence, encourage and praise children's questions appropriately, and correct children's wrong ideas in time. Parents should talk more about what their children are exposed to, inspire and induce, and never ignore their children's problems, which will make them afraid to ask questions. 5. Memorize vocabulary and texts. Pupils have a good memory, and some things can be memorized and remembered for a lifetime. Parents can guide their children to recite as many words and texts as possible when guiding their children to learn. In foreign language schools, parents can use homophonic methods to make their children remember more vocabulary. 6. Develop the habit of reading books and newspapers. Parents need to buy and subscribe suitable books, newspapers and periodicals for their children to create a reading environment, but it is best not to order too many books, but to order fewer but better books. In order to prevent "skimming", parents can read with their children, discuss the problems in the book with them, and guide them to take reading notes. 7. Develop phased study habits. Master the learning cycle and cultivate children's habit of learning according to the cycle of preview, listening to lectures, reviewing and writing homework.
It is very important for junior pupils to form good habits, including both study and life. Parents discussed some bad behaviors and habits of children in their study and life, expressed different opinions and reached a consensus. These include:
1) Children are children, so be naive. Never teach children some worldly things in society and let them become adults.
2) Let children do what they can and adults help.
3) Let children arrange their own time reasonably, and parents just give appropriate guidance.
4) It's grade two now, so read more extracurricular books and increase some extracurricular knowledge.
5) Keep close contact between home and school, communicate with children at home, and often take time to go to school to understand children's learning and ideological status.
At this parent-teacher meeting, we also let parents know about the education and teaching reform that our school is actively carrying out this autumn, and let parents know that this curriculum reform guides students to learn to learn, encourages research-based learning and cooperative learning, and teachers and students learn from each other and develop together. The new curriculum has narrowed the distance between teachers and students, students and social life. Cooperative communication and inquiry learning have become the main teaching forms, which enable children to gradually form inquiry learning methods, experience the happiness of success and cultivate innovative spirit and practical ability. Therefore, our parents' ideas should be gradually changed, and we should pay more attention to the long-term and all-round development of children. Recognizing whether a child is a qualified and useful talent is not determined by a test paper, but by society. What the future society needs is people with sound personality, mental health, strong social adaptability and lifelong learning desire and ability. A person's observation ability, thinking ability, comprehensive application ability of knowledge and viability are very important. Therefore, knowledge alone is not enough, but students' comprehensive quality, emotion, attitude and values are more important. Therefore, we can't just focus on scores as before.
Zhu Yongxin, vice mayor of Suzhou, is a famous professor of education in China. He presided over a research project called New Education Experiment. He advocates: unlimited belief in the potential of children; Never be disappointed in your children; Never be stingy with your parents' praise and encouragement; Teach children something useful to life. Please all parents in the world remember this sentence: "You may not be a genius, but you can be a genius parent." We take this opportunity to encourage parents.
In order to better regulate children's behavior habits, I ask children not to be late in the morning. After coming, all the children will take the initiative to clean the classroom and take morning reading. Every day when children arrive at school, they always consciously take out the things in their schoolbags, with books on the right, exercise books on the left and pencil boxes in the middle. Every time I do my homework, I always take out a pencil, an eraser and a ruler. Every time I leave the classroom for another class, I always clean up my desk and stuff my chair. Reduce the chances of muddling along, basically organized. At the beginning of implementing these specific requirements, I was worried about whether the children could do it. As it turns out, the children did a good job. During my home visit, I also found that many children can do these seemingly trivial things at home. Good study habits will benefit children for life. Next, I will talk about the requirements of Chinese learning. Chinese ability mainly refers to children's "listening, speaking, reading and writing" ability. "Listening" means not only listening to the teacher carefully, but also listening to other students' speeches carefully. Accept or filter useful information while listening. At present, classroom training accounts for a large proportion in this kind of training, and most children in the class can listen to others' speeches carefully. In today's Chinese class, we can often hear such independent opening words as "I want to add …" and "I don't agree with him …". But some students haven't done enough. Today's children are good at "talking", and sometimes what they say has a certain depth. On the way to send their children home every day, parents can consciously communicate with their children what happened at school. It not only enhances feelings, but also is a good opportunity to practice speaking. It is best to let the children speak completely and methodically. In class, children's "speaking" ability is also very important. After more than a year's training, the children in this class should be excellent in oral expression. Many courses, such as art and Chinese, always like to choose our class when choosing courses. One reason is that they are willing to speak, dare to speak and express themselves clearly and completely. As for my Chinese class, many teachers come to attend the class and give me the biggest evaluation that your child is really good at talking. You can go and see it sometime. If you want to say something wonderful, you need to read a lot of extra-curricular books besides the necessary life experience. Chinese curriculum standards point out that by the end of the second grade, children's reading volume is 50 thousand words. Now I ask my children to keep reading every day. You should at least read me an essay. You must read aloud. The feeling of watching it once is definitely different from watching it three times. After reading at least one article, it is very important to know a word. I found that many children in my class like reading very much and have rich extracurricular knowledge. How to better stimulate children's reading interest? Recently, I borrowed a book from the library, and the children chatted and were very interested. Unfortunately, there are few libraries of such books. When I wanted to borrow the third set, I was told that I didn't have it, so I recommended a set of books from Qin Wenjun. Children will probably like it. I think if there is a reading craze in class, it will be of great help to children's reading and writing. On the other hand, if you have time, if you like reading, I suggest you read and share with your children. Of course, this is based on your time. This is also a way to improve children's reading interest. Li Lanting and Gao in the class came up to me happily and said, "Teacher, my mother likes reading our books, too. She said it was so fun. " The child was excited and happy when he said this. Because her mother reads the same books as herself and finds them very interesting. In addition, for shorter articles, children should be instructed to read their feelings, so that the reading effect will be better. About writing, it mainly refers to writing well and writing well. At present, the children's calligraphy in the class is generally satisfactory, but the writing posture needs to be further improved. One punch, one foot and one inch. Thanks again. Every time you approve the work, I can see you urging the children. As for writing, what I ask my classmates now is to express the content of a picture completely in a paragraph and write it out. Writing should be related to students' reading. Read more books and you will write beautifully. Now we have extracurricular reading workbooks regularly every day, and the feeling of correcting them is that children have made great progress. Because you have to study, take exams, and inevitably have homework. At present, the routine homework includes memorizing words, reading and reciting texts, reading extracurricular books and so on. These must go through customs. Sincerely hope that you can contact us in time.
