1. When installing the reducer, special attention should be paid to the alignment of the transmission center axis, and the alignment error should not exceed the compensation amount of the coupling used in the reducer. After the reducer is centered as required, it can obtain more ideal transmission effect and longer service life.

2. When installing the transmission parts on the output shaft of the reducer, be sure to pay attention to soft operation. It is forbidden to use tools such as hammers for rough installation. It is best to use the assembly fixture and the internal thread of the end shaft for installation, and press the transmission parts into the reducer with the force of screwing in the bolts to protect the internal parts of the reducer from damage.

3. There are many optional types of coupling used in the reducer, but it is best not to use rigid fixed coupling, which is difficult to install. Once improperly installed, the load will increase, which will easily lead to bearing damage and even output shaft fracture.

4. It is very important to fix the reducer. To ensure stability and firmness, generally speaking, we should install the reducer on a horizontal foundation or pedestal, and at the same time, we should drain the oil from the oil drain tank and make the cooling air flow smoothly. If the reducer is not fixed properly and the foundation is unreliable, it will cause vibration and other phenomena, and it will also cause unnecessary damage to bearings and gears.

5. When necessary, a protective device should be installed on the transmission coupling of the reducer. For example, there are protrusions on the coupling, or gears and sprockets are used for transmission. If the radial load on the output bearing is large, the reinforced type should also be selected.

6. The installation position of the reducer should ensure the operation of the staff, including easy access to the cursor, exhaust plug and oil drain plug. After the installation of the reducer is completed, the inspector shall comprehensively check the accuracy of the installation position to determine the reliability of each fastener.

7. Before the operation of the reducer, it is necessary to prepare for the operation. Remove the vent plug of the oil pool and replace it with a vent plug. Open the screw of the oil level plug, check the height of the oil line, add lubricating oil until the oil level plug overflows, then screw on the oil level plug and make sure it is correct. After that, you can start trial operation.

8. The test run time of the reducer should not be less than two hours. The standard of normal operation is smooth operation, no vibration, no noise, no leakage and no impact. If there is any abnormality, it should be eliminated in time.
