Diligence and thrift are the virtues of the Chinese nation and a fine tradition that each of us should inherit and carry forward. Let's talk about thrift from my personal point of view.
Every grain of rice in life should be thrifty. Presumably, when we were in kindergarten, we heard the teacher say, don't waste a grain of rice, and pick up the rice that fell on the table. Every grain of rice was bought by parents who worked hard to earn money, and planted by farmers with their backs to the loess. We have no reason to waste! Don't waste a drop of water. If you waste a drop of water, it may save a small animal and a person in the desert. As long as you are diligent and turn off the tap in time, you may become a warrior to save others. Therefore, water is the source of life, and we should save every drop of water.
Thrift is not just about saving food and water. And save electricity and so on. There is too much to save, and saving is a huge project. But as long as each of us is committed to saving, this huge project will become a trivial matter.
Success comes from thrift, failure comes from luxury. Diligence and thrift, starting from small things, starting from yourself.
