This is not a simple poem, it reflects Chen Ran's lifelong pursuit. If we have read Chen Ran's On Integrity, it is not difficult to see that this poem is a brilliant portrayal of his life and beliefs. The most admirable thing is that Chen Ran not only has such a belief, but also gave his blood and life to defend this belief!
In his underground work, as well as when he was arrested and imprisoned, he never bowed to the enemy with his head held high and noble until he died heroically. Although Chen Ran's life is short, it is a truly magnificent life. With his life, he taught countless people to have such noble integrity in life.
To this day, every time I think of Chen Ran's poems, I feel how noble the martyr's integrity is! Modern people like to complain about all kinds of corruption in our society, especially the corruption caused by various rights, but in fact, we are used to the corruption that happens all the time around us and turn a blind eye: primary school teachers are the shapers of our next generation's spiritual soul, but they imply that students urge their parents to give gifts; Members of the neighborhood committees of retired workers' organizations also know how to ask for bribes before issuing parking permits. These phenomena reveal not only the corruption of power, but the depravity that generally spreads in the depths of our contemporary people and corrodes the soul of our nation. This is the real crisis behind today's social corruption! In this reality, we find that our heads are not only noble, but also humble and tireless! What's more, simply add a tail to yourself and shake your head and wag your tail, which is extraordinary.
"People can't lower their noble heads!" Easier said than done? It is even harder for modern people to imagine defending like Chen Ran! However, Chen Ran defended the best national integrity of our nation, and countless outstanding Chinese sons and daughters, like Chen Ran, defended this noble integrity with their own lives. Is this integrity to be destroyed by our generation?
From ancient times to the present, there are always people who hold their heads high, and there are always people who will never lift their heads. The dignity of a person's head does not depend on the rich and the poor, but on whether he is as honest as Chen Ran, has the integrity spirit of being an upright person, has the pride of being killed without disgrace, and has the courage to never bow to any unjust phenomenon and forces. This kind of honesty is what distinguishes each of us and even the whole nation from other most precious wealth.
Rereading Chen Ran's poems, I feel that it is really difficult to learn to be a person who does not bow his head like Chen Ran, but it is even more difficult to live aboveboard without learning to be such a person. !
"People can't lower their noble heads!" It's Chen Ran, the eternal integrity of our nation!
