Implementation principles: fairness, openness and justice.
I. Basic measures
Doctoral students were enrolled in September 20 12 and March 20 13, and the direct doctoral students recommended by fresh graduates were enrolled in September, and the doctoral students in the plan of strengthening the army and the plan of ethnic minorities were enrolled in March. In the enrollment of doctoral students in September, if the general doctoral program is completed, ordinary doctoral students will not be enrolled in March. If the plan is not completed, enrollment will continue in March, and the enrollment assessment method in March is the same as that in September.
The application and selection methods are online registration, submission of written materials, and merit-based comprehensive examination.
Second, the application conditions
Fresh graduates with strong interest in life science, innovative consciousness and scientific research ability have obtained previous graduates with master's degrees. Non-biology majors who are interested in life science research are encouraged to register.
Physical health meets the prescribed medical examination standards.
Applicants are generally not over 40 years old.
Applicants who hold a degree certificate obtained overseas must pass the certification of the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education.
The authenticity of the applicant's academic qualifications, degree certificates and other application materials, once verified by the admissions unit or certification department as untrue, will cancel its application qualification.
Third, the application of evaluation methods
Admission and selection are divided into two parts: online registration, submission of application materials and re-examination.
(1) Online registration and submission of application materials
Log in to yz.tsinghua.edu.cn from 9: 00 on August 3/KLOC-0 to 9: 00 on September 16: 00, complete online registration procedures according to relevant requirements, and submit the following written materials within the specified time.

7) Copy of degree and diploma (submitted by previous students).
8) Provide 2 to 3 "expert recommendation letters" from experts above associate professors (or equivalent titles) who apply for degree courses. The recommendation letter is not limited in format, but it must be stamped by the recommending expert and signed at the stamp.

The deadline for submitting materials for registration is September 20 12 14, subject to the date of receipt. Be sure to send it by express, and don't accept parcels.
Applicants should carefully check whether they meet the requirements before registration. Candidates who do not meet the application conditions will not be admitted, and the relevant consequences will be borne by the candidates themselves.
(2) Second interview
We review the materials provided by the applicants, select the best candidates, and notify some applicants to take the comprehensive examination. The comprehensive examination is arranged by the Admissions Committee established by the School of Life Sciences. According to undergraduate and master's transcripts and expert recommendation letters, the Admissions Committee conducts a second interview by means of separate assessment and interview, and comprehensively evaluates students' academic background, operational skills, oral foreign language level, logical thinking ability and innovation ability.
Fourth, admission
According to the comprehensive examination results, the Admissions Committee determines the list of candidates to be admitted and reports it to the school admissions leading group for review.
