He who sees through, lets go, is at ease, follows fate, and recites Buddha.
The Diamond Sutra says: There is no disfigurement in Dharma.
Landlord, you are obsessed with emptiness. Neither side. When the shadow comes, it appears, and when the shadow goes, everything follows fate.
It's time to eat at the same time, without killing or eating meat, and eat healthily. Reward health and longevity.
It's time to buy clothes, but thrift is not a luxury.
Work hard when it is time to work. Abide by the discipline of the work unit.
Respect all sentient beings, praise all sentient beings, help others more, naturally have good interpersonal relationships and many friends.
Buddhism says, measure yourself first, and then measure him if you have the ability.
Only about one-sixth of the 6 billion people study Buddhism, and the learning level is uneven. How does it affect human development?
Buddhism lies in application, learning a little and doing a little. Don't be impatient, do it together because there will be some discomfort in living habits, mainly from the angle.
=====================================================
Please have a look before we analyze the problem. Some data about the coincidence between Buddhism and science are as follows:
● The ancients generally believed that the sky was round and the earth was square; Buddha said that the earth is not square, but round, and it is called' Earth Wheel'.
After that, science developed, and it was really round, called' Earth'.
According to the records in Huayan Sutra and Brahma Sutra, the world in China and Tibet is like a cloud and boundless.
Einstein, a famous mathematician and physicist in the modern world, proved that the universe is a four-dimensional continuum with mathematics, and thought that the universe is expanding, and it is extremely grand and even endless! Citing the theory of relativity, he explained that mass and energy represent a static universe and a moving universe, and their intricate combination forms an unpredictable universe. This is quite close to the endless worldview of Buddhism.
Buddhism says that 10 billion sumeru, 10 billion sun and moon make up a world of 3 thousand, which is just a Buddha turning to earth.
The so-called' three thousand worlds' means that a thousand solar systems are a thousand worlds, a thousand Hanazono Sakura worlds are a thousand worlds, and a thousand middle worlds are a thousand worlds. Modern astronomers have detected that there are nearly one billion stars in the Milky Way that shine like the sun, and it is estimated that there should be as many as thirty billion. In the space of the solar system, there are countless nebulae and galaxies, and each planet has one or two satellites. This coincides with the figures of tens of billions of sumeru and tens of billions of sun and moon in Buddhism.
● Buddhist scriptures also say that the world is boundless and all beings are boundless.
1968, jocelyn Bell, a member of the research team of antony hewish, an astrophysicist at Cambridge University, discovered the mysterious radio signal from outer space. This is different from the stable signals sent by planets in the past. The signal received by Bell is pulsating, and it is an image that appears regularly every fifteen seconds. So many people believe that she has found evidence of the existence of creatures in outer space. According to the team's induction, this pulsating electric wave comes from a rotating planet 200 light years away from the earth (the speed of light is 299 kilometers per second, 800 kilometers per second, and the distance traveled in one year is called a light year, which is equal to 940 kilometers or 550 billion kilometers). Because of her discovery of life in outer space, hewish and his adviser Sir martin ryle won the Nobel Prize in Literature of 1974.
● Buddhism divides the universe into three realms, namely, the realm of desire, the realm of color and the realm of achromatic. The world of desire is the world where all beings who are greedy for food and drink live; The color world is a world where all sentient beings who have no gluttony and lust but still have color bodies live; There is no color world, that is, there is no color body, but living in the world where all beings live in meditation.
Modern science and technology have been able to visit the Milky Way and extragalactic systems through electron optical telescopes, collect radio waves from the second universe (antimatter universe) and the third universe (unknown nature) different from ours, and even intercept planetary telecommunications from five billion light years away!
People are born and die, and the world is successful, alive, bad and empty.
Professor Fred Hoju, a cosmophysicist at Cambridge University, UK 1964 published a paper in the Royal Society, put forward his new theory of gravity and explained the origin of the universe. He believes that stars and the Milky Way may have beginnings, evolutions and endings, and every planet in the universe is going through a cycle in its life, that is, regrouping after the Big Bang. In addition, the primitive explosion theory put forward by Liu Mei Taylor, a professor at Leuven University, and convinced by most scientists also holds that the universe has a process of origin, development and destruction. These are all consistent with the Buddhist worldview.
Once, the Buddha was sitting on the bank of the Ganges River, and his disciples brought him a bowl of water. He told his disciples, "There are 84,000 bugs in a bowl of water."
It was not until the end of the fifteenth century that scientists invented the microscope and looked into the water, only to find that there were indeed countless bugs (bacteria) in it.
● The most valuable thing is that Buddhism points out that everything in the universe is the' source of emptiness'.
"Primitive" is a combination of various factors, that is, everything is born of a combination of various conditions. Sexual emptiness' means that everything born of many factors has no real self. Factors gather to produce, and factors disperse to destroy.
Prove all the facts that everything in the universe really originated from emptiness. Take the human body as an example. Buddhism says that the human body consists of four elements: soil (solid), water (liquid), fire (temperature) and wind (gas). According to modern chemistry, an adult's body is composed of 16% carbon, 8% hydrogen, 3% nitrogen, 1.5% calcium, 1% phosphorus, 0.5% other elements and 70% water.
Furthermore, scientists use chemical methods to decompose all objects and come to the conclusion that many tiny particles are called' molecules' and they are made up of smaller particles' atoms'. Therefore, scientists have come to a conclusion that all objects are initially composed of homogeneous or heterogeneous atoms (later found in the smallest atom, there are still factors, protons and quanta), and then all objects are composed of molecules. Doesn't this conclusion of scientists prove what Buddhism says: everything from dust to the universe is born (there is) when it gathers, and it is destroyed (empty) when it disperses?
The data quoted above show that the more advanced science is, the more it can prove the correctness of Buddhism. A single "space of origin" has exposed the truth of the universe and the reality of life, leaving all the myths created by God or God without a foothold. No wonder Tagore, the first Indian writer and poet in Asia to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, said,' I think Sakyamuni Buddha is the greatest saint in the world!' (See Tagore's On Buddhism and Buddhist Thought. Rosso, a famous mathematician and philosopher in modern Britain and recognized as the most outstanding logician in the world, also said,' Of all religions, I am in favor of Buddhism.' (See Rosso on Religious Issues in the Collection of Contemporary Celebrity Speeches. )
The world will be surprised. Buddha Sakyamuni appeared on earth. According to the first meeting of the World Buddhist Friendship Association held in Colombo, Ceylon (present-day Sri Lanka) in 1950, it was determined that the Buddha was born in 623 BC and nirvana was in 543 BC. In other words, the Buddha was born in ancient times 2624 years ago, earlier than China's Laozi and Confucius. At that time, there were no modern mathematics, physics and advanced scientific instruments. How can the Buddha know everything about the universe?
If you are a person with a good understanding of Buddhism, you won't be surprised, because you know that the Buddha is a great saint born in the world (in the world and beyond). He sees everything with his eyes and knows everything in the universe like the back of his hand, so he can tell the truth clearly.
The spirit of science lies in putting aside phenomena to explore the truth, and Buddhism broke the world of phenomena as early as 2600 years ago and unveiled the secrets of the universe and life!
Therefore, although modern science and technology are changing with each passing day and dazzling, the truth of the universe discovered by space science today is still superficial. More than 2,600 years ago, Buddha said that human beings are only passers-by on the earth, and the range of human life and death is 3,000 worlds (about equal to a galaxy), and there are countless worlds. But our technology, until today, is not equal to the universe of a galaxy. Even the solar system of the Milky Way is unclear, and even the nine planets that have been discovered (scientists recently broke the concept of nine planets and said that there are ten planets in the solar system), no scientist can tell the truth clearly. It is often said that after the overthrow, it is still controversial. Why is this happening? There are two reasons:
First, our earth is like a dust in space, and it is impossible for human beings to prove the universe from the earth;
Second, no matter how great a scientist is, he is just an ordinary person. They have no six paths and no Buddha's eyes. They can't see the truth of the universe with their own eyes like Buddha. They can only make analysis, induction and deduction based on mathematical, physical and scientific instruments. It is inevitable that you have a little knowledge and speak differently.
In short, how can you tell the truth without experience? This is a dilemma that scientists cannot break through. This is the science of Buddhism and its transcendence.
Buddha also introduced Amitabha's Elysium to the world more than 2,600 years ago, saying that the Elysium is in the west of our world, which is 10 trillion Buddha land (a Buddha land is 3,000 millennia, which is a galaxy). But according to our modern science and technology, we can't even figure out the nine planets in the solar system, let alone the paradise outside the 10 trillion galaxy. At this stage, if we insist on scientifically confirming the paradise, it is tantamount to "seeking fish from the edge of the tree", which is absolutely impossible.
Why should we confirm the existence of a paradise that has not been confirmed by science? In the profound Buddhism, there is a' three quantities' that teaches people how to measure and judge the existence of things:
1, current quantity. That is to say, the realm that can be proved intuitively without conscious thinking, such as drinking water, knowing yourself well, and touching the fire with your hands, can immediately confirm its existence.
2. The specific quantity. When you see smoke in the distance, you know there must be a fire, or you hear a noise next door, and you know there must be someone there.
3, the amount of holy words, also known as the amount of holy teachings, that is, the words, teachings, or classics of saints (referring to Buddha), only know that it is true. Just like Elysium, if it weren't for the introduction and recommendation of Buddha, we would never know that there is such a strange and wonderful world in the vast space.
This "three quantities" is the Buddhist "theory of karma", which is what modern people call "logic" and is equivalent to the "dialectical method" of modern philosophical thinking mode. The modern "logic" and "dialectical method" lack the unique "sacred words" of Buddhism, which are not only universally applicable, but also eternal and evergreen, so they are absolutely different.
We firmly believe that there is Amitabha and his paradise in the west, and there is this unique and insightful' sacred word'.
There is no doubt that we are full of confidence in this' holy word', and it is also based on the following reasons:
First, the famous Diamond Sutra says; Tathagata is a true speaker, a true speaker, a fluent speaker, a non-slanderer and a non-alien speaker. In modern terms, the Buddha is absolutely a great sage who tells the truth, tells the truth, tells the truth, does not lie and does not contradict himself.
Secondly, when Sakyamuni Buddha introduced Amitabha and his paradise to the world, there were many great bodhisattvas from ten directions, such as Guanyin, Shi Zhi, Manjusri, Pu Xian and Maitreya in the future. In addition, there are many great arhats. They all have six magical powers, and they can see and kiss the Elysium with their own eyes. If the Buddha was talking nonsense, he decided not to hide it.
Third, the Buddha has a "wide and long tongue", which is one of the 32 phases of Put Lolerk. Ordinary people III don't talk nonsense, and their tongues can stick out and lick the tip of their noses. The three monks only talk nonsense, but their tongues are thin and wide, which can cover their faces, and so does Sakyamuni Buddha. Besides Buddha, who else in the world has this ability? If you don't even believe in Buddha, who can you trust?
Elder Kong Jing, a venerable Buddhist monk, said today: "Among ordinary people, decent people with status and morality refuse to lie, not to mention the Buddha. If one sentence in the Buddhist scriptures is inconsistent with the facts, then all Buddhist scriptures can be regarded as false lies. Lying is one of the at least five commandments, and ordinary people who hold the five commandments can only keep their personal lives. If the Buddha lied, wouldn't it be worse than ordinary people? "
We often hear that it is arbitrary to believe without seeing it with our own eyes. In this regard, another famous Buddhist Fang Lun gave a good answer. He said:' Everyone has no eyes, has never seen Elysium, has no magical powers and has never been to Elysium, so don't cling to Elysium. If we cling to it, it will be arbitrary. This is correct. However, is it arbitrary for people who have no celestial eyes and magical powers to hold the bliss country as nothing? Since I haven't seen it, how can I say it's nothing? Just because we are ordinary people, we are not qualified to say anything, so we must follow the "sacred words" and rely on the Buddha's words. If you don't have cosmic wisdom and don't believe in Buddha's words, you will become the most stubborn thing in the world. "
The more scientific progress data we quoted above, the more we can prove the correctness of Buddhism. In addition, the Buddha is full of insight. I believe you must have found the right answer.
