University library plays a vital role in the school's education, teaching and scientific research activities. Service is the essential attribute of a library. The basic function of university library is to meet the borrowing needs of teachers and students. With the application of information technology, teachers and students have higher and higher expectations for library services. They hope to obtain and use information scientifically, comprehensively, quickly and accurately. As a bridge of information transmission, the traditional "closed shelf" and "stack" lending management methods of university libraries can no longer meet the information needs of teachers and students, and even hinder the sustainable development of libraries. For librarians, facing more and more readers, manual operation is too heavy and easy to make mistakes. Therefore, the use of computer management is a trend and necessity.
I am a fresh undergraduate majoring in computer science, and I am interested in contributing to library management. And using the knowledge and skills I learned with the hard education and help of teachers in the past four years, I designed a lending management system of university library. To manage these books, students' materials and students' borrowing situation, it is very heavy to operate by hand, and it is difficult to achieve optimal management. Therefore, the book lending management system I developed is mainly aimed at the management of administrators.

Design a lending management software of university library to manage the books and users of the school. It can query books and users through different conditions, and handle books borrowed and returned by users, book certificates and other functions. The administrator can log in to the system after entering the correct account and password in the "System Login" form, and the Logo form will pop up. In these two pages, you can add, modify, delete, query and print student materials and books respectively. Click the button in the command button toolbar to operate the records in the page box of student information.
● "Book borrowing and returning operation" module
The "borrowing and returning books operation" module includes the functions of checking readers' borrowing and returning books, reading overdue books and printing.
The reader's borrowing record viewing function can view all borrowing records, or only those that have not been returned. Click the "Borrowing Books" button in the "Reader Borrowing Records" table. In the Input form that opens, enter the book number of the book you want to borrow. If the books are in the library and readers can borrow books, then borrowing books is successful.
Click the Return Book button in the Reader's Book Borrowing Record form, and enter the book number of the book to be returned in the Open Input form. If the book is borrowed by the current reader, the book is returned successfully.
When the list of books that the reader has not returned is displayed in the form, double-click the "Book Number" column of the book to be returned in the table listing the book borrowing records to return the book.
Click the "Expired" button in the "Reader's Borrowing Records" form to view the borrowing records of books that have not been returned by the return date in the system.
