Green food in China is divided into Grade A and Grade AA. Among them, the limited use of chemically synthesized means of production is allowed in the production of Grade A green food, while Grade AA green food strictly requires that chemically synthesized fertilizers, pesticides, veterinary drugs, feed additives, food additives and other substances harmful to the environment and health should not be used in the production process. According to the industry standard issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, AA grade green food is equivalent to organic food.
