Write about my hometown-Xiangyang, an ancient city.
My hometown, Xiangyang ancient city, has a history of more than 2800 years.

As early as the Zhou Xuanwang period in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, an important city had been established here.

Xiangyang is located in the south bank of the middle reaches of the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River.

Hanshui River, called Hanshui River in ancient times, has a U-shaped channel formed by a section of river blocked by mountains, and Xiangyang is guarding it here.

It has a special location, dangerous terrain, and is easy to defend but difficult to attack. Since ancient times, it has been a battleground for military strategists, known as "the first city in China" and the birthplace of the culture of the Three Kingdoms.

In Xiangyang city, the Hanshui River runs through the city from west to east, dividing the city into Fancheng and Xiangyang.

Xiangyang City is surrounded by mountains on three sides: Lumen Mountain in the east, Xianshan Mountain, Yanghu Mountain and Pipa Mountain in the south, and Longzhong Mountain in the west.

The peaks are undulating, lush and beautiful.

In history, more than 20 poets lived in seclusion in Lumen Mountain, which was praised by writers as "eternal poetry mountain". The most famous is Meng Haoran, who lives in seclusion in Lumen Mountain, where he wrote the famous "Spring Dawn": I woke up easily on this morning in spring, and birds were singing everywhere. How many flowers fall after a stormy night.

Zhuge Liang once lived in seclusion in Gulong, Xiangyang for decades. Bamboo is planted in Maolin, with beautiful scenery and fresh air. Zhuge Liang studied hard here and kept a low profile. The world-famous shanzhai's three visits and three points in the world are right here.

Poets Du Fu and Meng Haoran were both from Xiangyang, and Bai Juyi lived here with his father for several years.

Scholars of all ages: Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, Fan Zhongyan, Du Fu, Liu Zongyuan, Wang Changling, Yuan Zhen and Zhang Jiuling, have traveled to Xiangyang many times, and left a well-known poem here.
