All subjects in the intermediate level of the soft test are written, and there is no computer test. According to the Notice of the former Ministry of Personnel and the former Ministry of Information Industry on Printing and Distributing the Interim Provisions on the Examination of Computer Technology and Software Professional Technical Qualification (Level) and the Implementation Measures for the Examination of Computer Technology and Software Professional Technical Qualification (Level) (No.39 [2003] issued by the Ministry of Personnel), the computer qualification examination has been incorporated into the unified planning of the national professional and technical personnel professional qualification certificate system. The personnel who have obtained the certificate through examination show that they have the level and ability to engage in the corresponding professional posts. The employer may select the corresponding professional and technical posts (technicians, assistant engineers, engineers and senior engineers) from the personnel who have obtained the certificate according to the needs of the work.

According to the rules of the examination room for soft exam, personnel are only allowed to bring black, blue and black signature pens, pens or ballpoint pens, 2B pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers and rulers into the examination room, and are not allowed to borrow stationery from each other after the exam. Personnel are not allowed to carry any books, notes, paper, calculators, newspapers, mobile phones, electronic equipment and communication tools that are forbidden to be used in the examination room.

Personnel should consciously maintain the order of the examination workplace, obey the management of the examination staff and observe the discipline of the examination room. Those who violate discipline and discipline will be dealt with severely in accordance with the Provisions on Handling Discipline and Violation in Professional and Technical Personnel Qualification Examination (Order No.31of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security). After the bell rings at the end of the exam, the personnel should immediately stop answering questions, reverse the answer sheet (paper) on the table, and leave the examination room with the permission of the invigilator.
