What are the reasons for the excessive political participation of Russian interest groups in the transition period?
With the differentiation and reorganization of interests in Russia's transition period, the emergence of interest groups is an inevitable political phenomenon. Analyzing the formation and evolution of interest groups in Russia during the transition period, and the ways, characteristics, influences and trends of political participation of interest groups, has beneficial enlightenment to the emergence and governance of interest groups in countries during the transition period, and has important theoretical significance and practical value. Based on this, this paper takes the political participation of Russian interest groups in the transition period as the research object. This paper systematically studies and discusses the political participation of Russian interest groups in the transition period by using Marxist viewpoints and methods, political science, scientific socialism theory and economics.

This paper includes eight parts. The introduction includes the theoretical and practical significance of the topic, a summary of the research status, research methods, the definition of important concepts of the paper, the framework of the paper, innovations and shortcomings. The first chapter to the sixth chapter is the main part of this paper.

The first chapter analyzes the historical evolution of Russian interest groups, and first systematically discusses the reasons for the formation of Russian interest groups. There are many reasons for the formation of Russian interest groups, and the bureaucratic privileged class in the Soviet Union is the historical root. The vigorous promotion of Russian transitional government and the development of political system are political roots; The differentiation of interests caused by the market economy in Russia's transition period is an economic reason; The diversity of Russian ideology and culture in the transition period is its cultural root; Class differentiation in Russia's transition period is the social root. Secondly, it is believed that the formation, development and evolution of Russian interest groups have three historical periods: the bureaucratic privileged class in the Soviet Union, the development and growth in Yeltsin's period and the transformation in Putin's and Medvedev's period. It is pointed out that the formation, development and transformation of bureaucratic privileged class in the Soviet period is not only one of the fundamental reasons for the disintegration of the Soviet Union, but also the embryonic form of Russian interest groups after the disintegration of the Soviet Union.

The second chapter introduces the main interest groups in Russia during the transition period. To study the political participation of interest groups in Russia's transition period, we should have a basic understanding of the main interest groups in Russia's transition period. Russia's transition period can be roughly divided into two stages: Yeltsin period and Putin period. Firstly, the classification of Russian interest groups is expounded. Then it introduces the general situation of interest groups represented by financial group, oil and gas group, military interest group and local interest group during Yeltsin's period. Finally, it introduces the current situation of interest groups represented by the original seven oligarchs, the rise of new oligarchs in Russia and the emergence of powerful departmental interest groups after Putin took office.

The third chapter analyzes six cases of Russian interest groups participating in politics in order to realize and safeguard their own group's vital interests. Including the participation of Russian financial industry groups in politics: 1996 Russian presidential election; Russian oil industry group's political participation: reflection on Yukos incident: Russian oil industry group's political participation: reflection on Angola-Dalian oil pipeline dispute: Russian military industry interest group and Russian arms export: Russian oil industry group and Russian Caspian Sea energy policy decision: Russian financial industry group's political participation-1997 Bankers' War.

The fourth chapter analyzes the political participation of Russian interest groups. This paper expounds and summarizes four main ways of political participation of Russian interest groups. In the process of comparing the political participation of American and Russian interest groups, this paper points out the characteristics of Russian interest groups' political participation: the main body of Russian interest groups' political participation is unbalanced, the lobbyists involved in political participation are concentrated, the system supply is limited, the negative impact on society is great, and their own maturity is low, so the governance of oligarchs can be said to have achieved initial results.

The fifth chapter is the political participation of Russian interest groups and the interaction of Russian society in the transition period. It is emphasized that the political participation of Russian interest groups is closely related to the social environment and institutional supply in Russia's transition period. The social economy, politics and culture in Russia's transition period provide a special social environment for the political participation of Russian interest groups. However, the political participation of interest groups has left a deep impression on the Russian society in transition, which has a far-reaching positive and negative impact on the economy, politics and culture of Russian society in transition.

The sixth chapter is the governance and prospect of political participation of Russian interest groups. First of all, it puts forward the countermeasures of political participation of Russian interest groups in the transition period; Secondly, it analyzes the interactive effect between the political participation of Russian interest groups and Russian political democratization. It is believed that the political participation of interest groups is an important part of Russian political democratization, and its promotion to the process of Russian political democratization is limited. In the process of political democratization, the change of political participation of Russian interest groups is closely related to the development of Russian political system. In the process of Russian political democratization, we should carefully promote and expand the orderly political participation of Russian interest groups. Finally, the trend of political participation of Russian interest groups is prospected; This paper analyzes the problems existing in Russian political democratization at present, and points out that the process of Russian political democratization has a long way to go and there are many uncertain factors. Therefore, in the process of political democratization, it is a long-term and important task to change the participation of Russian interest groups from oligarchy to orderly political participation and attach importance to the political participation and governance of Russian interest groups.

The conclusion part makes a general evaluation of the political participation of Russian interest groups in the transition period, and draws a basic conclusion that the political participation and governance of Russian interest groups have important reference value for the vast number of countries in transition.
