Flash animation design is a new subject. It is based on computer animation and guided by artistic creativity. Flash animation is the unity of art and technology. Therefore, an excellent Flash animation designer should not only have high aesthetic quality, but also be proficient in application software. As a new media, Flash animation has its greatest advantages in rich audio-visual effects and two-way communication mode of human-computer interaction. A successful Flash animation must be carefully produced through scriptwriting, role design, animation production, dubbing and other links.

In this graduation project, FLASH MX 2004 software is used as the main animation production tool, Photoshop, Fireworks and other software are used as auxiliary tools to edit and modify vector pictures to be used in animation, ACDSee software is used for image format conversion and size compression, and Cool2. 1 music production software is used for cutting and reorganizing music and character dubbing files in pre-imported films, thus completing the whole theme of "environmental protection-birdsong".

This paper mainly introduces the design process and implementation method of this cartoon. First of all, this paper mainly introduces the purpose and significance of making flash animation, the technology and guiding ideology of designing animation, and makes a feasibility analysis and overall design of animation. Then script planning, bitmap processing and film prologue are carried out, and detailed animation design is completed with Flash MX 2004 as the development tool. Then the sound is recorded, processed and imported with Cool2. 1 software, and then the movie is exported and released. Finally, at the end of the paper, I deeply thought and summarized the problems in the animation design process, and expressed my gratitude to the teachers and classmates who helped me in the graduation design and production process.
