What good habits should college students develop?
1, the habit of getting up early in time

A big bad habit in college is to "sleep late if you have nothing to do". Although universities have plenty of time, they should not waste it excessively. Sleeping late is one of the most time-wasting habits. So try to get into the habit of getting up early on time and spend your time on more meaningful things.

2. The habit of managing time.

University is a good opportunity to cultivate time management ability. How to make full use of extracurricular time and arrange study, social entertainment and rest reasonably is the most important thing. You can try different time management methods to find the time schedule that suits you best.

3. The habit of independent study.

In college, autonomous learning is an indispensable ability and will benefit you for life. Because university teachers will no longer teach students by hand, but guide students to find and solve problems by themselves. You need to search a lot of information independently and find the answer from these materials.

At the same time, many college students regard the university as a place to eat, drink and have fun, and many people don't read much. In such an environment, you may be faced with such a choice at any time: whether to play happily with everyone or go to the library to read by yourself?

So whether you can motivate yourself, control yourself and study independently is a very important lesson in college.

4. The habit of diligent reading

Diligence means having the habit of reading; Fast, with faster reading speed and efficiency. In addition to attending classes, we should also learn to use resources such as libraries and networks to extend and expand our learning. Reading is the most basic and important learning method, whether it is a textbook or an extracurricular book. With regard to reading and learning, I would like to share with you my "four-step fast reading method" (more suitable for practical books):

Step 1: Ask yourself and answer yourself first. After I choose and get a book, I first look at the basic information such as preface and table of contents, then ask a few questions according to these basic information and the purpose of reading, and then answer my questions with some of my existing knowledge.

Step 2: Then read quickly. Read the whole book or some chapters at the speed of two or three thousand words per minute (elite speed reading mastery), thus establishing the context and knowledge structure of the book. During this period, I will find places that I am interested in, places that are important to me, or places that I don't understand, and then mark these contents simply and quickly. If necessary, read these contents twice and read them carefully.

Step 3: Answer the questions again according to the book. After reading this book, I answered the questions I asked before according to the contents of the book.

Step 4: Pay attention to the answer. Finally, compare the answers before reading with the answers after reading to see how many of your answers are the same as what the author said, and what are the omissions and gaps, and then focus on these omissions, gaps and differences.

This "four-step fast reading method" is a very time-saving method and the reading effect is very good. It can exercise your reading comprehension, analytical integration and thinking ability. You can try it yourself if you are interested.

In addition, you can find a method that suits you by combining "post-it notes reading method and Jiugongge notes reading method". These two methods have their own advantages (I sometimes combine them after reading quickly or answering the answers).

5. The habit of actively participating in speeches and debates.

Most of us don't like giving speeches, but the ability of speaking (expression, communication and persuasion) is a very important ability in today's society. Even if you have a strong personal ability, if you don't like talking, don't know how to communicate and are not good at expressing, it is difficult to get recognition and attention from your classmates, teachers, colleagues, leaders and subordinates.

Speech can not only make you more confident, but also be an important means for you to express yourself, defend yourself and reflect your own value, and an effective way for the invisible to be seen.

As a college student, you will often be asked to give a speech. Treat every speech as a rare promotion opportunity.

6. Constantly cultivate hobbies and polishing skills.
