1. Diligence can make up for deficiencies.
I am not a particularly clever person, but I am a very diligent person. Make up for your own shortcomings by doing homework.
Compared with Yang Lan, we should not be so smart, and we can be said to be stupid people. You must study hard and keep doing your homework to enrich yourself and make up for yourself.
Opportunities are always reserved for those who are prepared. Reading thousands of books and taking the Wan Li Road tell us that we should read more books to increase our knowledge and accumulate more experience through practice. Young friends, in particular, shoulder a mission. We are all here to learn from Yang Yi, to prepare a bucket of water, even if we only use a drop of spirit, to reserve knowledge for ourselves, our family, our career and our motherland.
If you are not smart, you can't be diligent; Don't be afraid if you don't succeed, work hard and grow.
2 Pay attention to accumulation.
I have always advocated extensive reading (not blindly, of course). Read as many books as possible as long as you don't interfere with time. This is of great benefit to the accumulation of life. Recently, I read an article written by Yang Lan called "You can't succeed, but you can't grow", which coincides with my point of view.
In this article, Yang Lan recalled her experience of interviewing Dr. Kissinger on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. In order to ask some high-level questions to Dr. Kissinger, she and her colleagues read a lot of information about Dr. Kissinger, including his papers, speeches and biographies when he was a professor at Harvard University, and seven or eight books commenting on him. Although the preparation took a long time and energy was great, in the end, when I interviewed him, I used to read very little information, only 27 minutes. I really prepared a bucket of water, but in the end I only used a drop of water.
Yes! Our reading has never been like this. We usually read a lot of books, but few of them can be used in writing. However, don't think reading is useless. In fact, the light of wisdom is based on a lot of reading. I am deeply touched by this. I have no confidence in writing, and I have no bottom in my heart. However, somehow, as soon as I start writing an article, I often feel like a flood of thoughts, and hundreds of words come out without dragging their feet, and some still feel that the quality is good. This may have a lot to do with my usual preference for reading books and newspapers. Because I read too many books, I unconsciously stored a lot of knowledge in my mind. When writing any opinions and plots, I will naturally think of some more appropriate examples and words.
In daily life, the same is true. Maybe we have done a lot of seemingly useless work, and many people think it is a fool's behavior. In fact, this is also a successful reserve. Maybe one of the jobs in it will promote the success of that day. I remember, there seems to be a story about a hardworking wage earner who comes to the company to clean up his office early every day, regardless of gains and losses. Even if colleagues make fun of the old school, they should help them and gradually win the goodwill of colleagues and the trust of the boss. Later, I was promoted quickly, higher than those colleagues with high academic qualifications, and finally started a brilliant career. In fact, ordinary diligence is a kind of accumulation. Without this accumulation, the ultimate success is empty talk.
Don't underestimate that it only takes a drop of water to prepare a bucket of water. Without a bucket of water, that precious drop of water would not exist.
It can also be extended to "opportunities will only be given to those who are prepared, and those who are prepared can seize opportunities."
