Debate on moral humanity
Morality is not measured by altruism and egoism.

As modern people, our struggle with morality lies in: on the one hand, we advocate individual freedom and don't want our words and deeds to be interfered too much by moral laws and regulations; On the other hand, we all know that morality is a beautiful thing and an indispensable condition for the smooth progress of our social life and public communication.

Morality is not measured by altruism. Morality has a much higher standard for true charity than his words, deeds and effects: a true love.

If the philanthropist's motivation is not out of sympathy and care for the sufferings of others, gratitude and sharing of his own fortune, and pity in the depths of his soul, but out of public scrutiny, or in order to exchange a large sum of money for a good reputation to honor his rights, then such altruism has nothing to do with moral spirit, love and goodwill. That's the purpose of charity. What lurks behind good deeds is calculation, balance and interests.

Peace of mind is for it.

In fact, moral immorality means asking yourself when you are alone: Is it safe for me to do this? "Peace of mind is what you do."

Morality is not only altruistic, but also egoistic. We do this because we don't want a good name. Dont Ask For Help knows that because of this, I am innocent and I am at ease; If I don't do this, I will lose nothing but peace of mind. Therefore, the reason why people pursue virtue and practice morality is not only for altruism, but also to achieve the highest state of self-interest through this altruism-a clear conscience and a clear conscience.

Morality is the product of human nature

When Mencius demonstrated that "human nature is good at the beginning of life", he mentioned that as long as a person can still be called human and has human nature, there must be some moral seeds in his heart-compassion (kindness), shame (justice), resignation (humility), right and wrong (rationality)-that is, we often say innate conscience.

Therefore, don't mistake morality for the bondage of human nature. Do not suppress human nature. On the contrary, it exists in human nature and belongs to human nature. It is the oldest and most primitive "good end" of human nature (the seed of goodness). We often feel that young hearts are particularly compassionate and have a natural good heart. This kind of conscience is the original unpolluted and unpolished nature of human nature.

True morality originates from nature, falls on peace of mind, and is similar to instinct. It is not that a person does good deeds after repeated weighing, but that he can't bear it, so he practices.

Altruism is the highest self-interest.

True morality has always been to achieve spiritual self-interest in altruism and real self-reliance among altruists, which is the harmonious unity of self-interest and altruism.

As Sartre, a French existentialist philosopher, famously said, "Others are me, others are another me, others are not my me, and others are not my me." In other words, many times, others are not completely isolated from me. "He" may be the past "I", and "I" was, is and will remain a "He".

Empathy, or sympathy, connects "he" and "I", and also connects "altruism" and "egoism", which is the origin of "moral" gentleness.
