Lin (1904.06.10-1955.04.0438+0), female. Han nationality. Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Architect and writer, the first female architect in China, was also praised by Hu Shi as a talented woman in China. In the early 1930s, Liang Sicheng and her husband used modern scientific methods to study the ancient architecture in China, becoming pioneers in this academic field. Later, they made great academic achievements in this field, which laid a solid scientific foundation for the study of ancient architecture in China. Literary works include essays, poems, novels, plays, translations and letters, as well as masterpieces such as You are April Day on Earth and Ninety-nine Degrees. There are three men in Lin's emotional world, one is Liang Sicheng, the other is the poet Xu Zhimo, and the other is the scholar Jin who will never marry.

After the liberation of Peiping, Lin was employed as a professor of architecture in Tsinghua University, taking the course of architectural history in China, and offering special courses such as Introduction to Housing for graduate students.
