But in this short period of three weeks, from initial ignorance, to discussion with classmates, to calculation of the whole process, to selection and demonstration of industrial materials, compilation of later programs and drawing of flow charts, I really felt the difficulty of combining theory with practice, and also realized that it was not easy to solve various practical problems by using the limited theoretical knowledge I had learned.
My course design topic is the design of benzene-chlorobenzene sieve plate distillation column. At first, we didn't know how to start. Although there was a curriculum design book as a reference before, the calculation steps in the book were slightly different from our own. Faced with these differences, we seem to be at a loss. By consulting books such as Principles of Chemical Engineering, Handbook of Chemical Process Design, Physical Chemistry, Curriculum Design of Principles of Chemical Engineering, and theoretical and empirical materials searched online. We slowly found our own experimental data. And gradually established its own template and calculation process.
What impressed me the most in these three weeks is that when we "non-bubble family" calculate the thermal condition parameter Q of feed, we have no reference template and think entirely by ourselves. At first, everyone was at a loss Calm down, we carefully combined with what the teacher said, discussed calculus step by step, and finally worked out Q through unremitting efforts in the afternoon.
