At that moment, he suddenly remembered a trip to Japan before retiring. The first thing he did was to ask his peers to invite Teresa Teng to sing in China. Teresa Teng said, I don't want to come, because she has a Kuomintang background.

At that time, Hong Minsheng vowed to tell his peers that the current political atmosphere was open and that one day Teresa Teng could return to China and take the stage. But he never imagined that Teresa Teng was not allowed to perform in Chinese mainland all his life.
