He has long been engaged in teaching and research in scientific and technological literature retrieval, information retrieval language, automatic indexing, computer information retrieval, information resource management, information policy and law. On June 4th 4- 10/0, Professor Lai was invited to Taiwan Province Province to attend the "Cross-Strait Symposium on Economy, Trade and Management" organized by Dahua Institute of Technology in Taiwan Province Province, and made a special speech entitled "Current Situation and Trends of Electronic Society Life in Mainland China". Other colleagues include Professor Dong Li and Dr. Alfred Yau from Guanghua School of Management. On the afternoon of June 2 1, the 5th China Software Fair "IT Governance and Excellent Operation and Maintenance" forum was successfully held in Dalian World Expo Center. Experts, scholars, chief information officers and media reporters from all over the country gathered together to discuss the deep-seated problems of the deep application of informatization in China.
