Air Force Engineering College 1960, China People's Air Force Engineering College (to be determined) was established and preparations began.

1969, reconstruction of the First Academy of China People's Air Force.

1975 upgraded to China People's Air Force Engineering College.

Air Force Missile Academy 1958, Air Force Technical School and Air Force Eighth Air Reserve School were merged to form China People's Air Force Missile School.

1955, the Fourth Cultural Normal School of North China Military Region and the Anti-aircraft Artillery School (3rd Battalion Repair Department) merged to form China Civil Air Defense Technical School.

1957 changed its name to China People's Air Force Technical School.

1958, the air defense technical school (anti-aircraft gun technical cadre training) was separated and merged into the air force anti-aircraft gun school.

1974 Reconstruction of Communication School of China People's Air Force.

1986 upgraded to China People's Air Force Telecommunication Engineering College.

1992, Air Force Telecommunication Engineering College merged into Xi 'an Communication College.

1993, Xi 'an Institute of Communication (formerly affiliated to the Institute of Telecommunications Engineering of the Air Force) was separated again and restored to the Institute of Telecommunications Engineering of the China People's Air Force.
